Esther has a passion for working with children using a play-based approach. She believes that working collaboratively with families and other professionals is the catalyst for successful intervention and provides holistic support for the child and their family. She believes in educating the community about the importance of play, early literacy and creating language-rich environments to encourage language development.
Outside of work, Esther enjoys spending time discovering local sights and good eats with her friends and family. She also likes playing the piano, singing, reading and travelling. Her community involvement in the past includes volunteering at a school as a learning assistant and giving talks on early literacy and voice care strategies to librarian staff at a community children’s library. She also volunteered at children’s holiday programs during the school holidays.
