Michelle is a Clinical Psychologist with a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (BSc Hons) from HELP University. She is also a registered member with the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP). Michelle is passionate in working with people of all ages with mental health concerns and committed to journeying with these individuals through the good times and bad. Michelle codeveloped “Oasis Place’s Kindness Matters” Program that celebrates The World Mental Health Day annually. She is skilled in psychological assessments, group therapy and psychotherapy with children, adolescents, families and working adults. Michelle has worked with clients with neurodevelopmental disorders, learning difficulties, and a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal thoughts, grief and loss. She is experienced at providing training and workshops to corporations, business owners, human resource teams, company heads and staff to create awareness on mental wellness, as well as a more inclusive and neurodiverse workplace. Michelle uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and incorporates techniques from Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as uses expressive therapy to help clients with behavioural and psychological issues. Michelle is proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
