Ms Donna Lim

Donna obtained her Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology from Monash University, Australia. She practiced in Australia for a year during her Masters placement. She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

During placement, her clinical work included cognitive screenings and assessments, behaviour field observations primarily at schools, specific early interventions (i.e., sleep initiation, behaviour and emotional regulation), comprehensive report writing, and the administrative duties that entailed.

Throughout her tertiary education, she worked for Camp Australia as an outside school hours care assistant at primary schools. Her desire to work with children led her to pursue her work at Camp Australia which eventually contributed to her Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology. At Camp Australia, she assisted in planning and executing child-initiated activities and ensured that the children were in a safe and engaging environment.

Her interest encompasses children’s overall social-emotional-behavioural development that go alongside their cognitive functioning. At Oasis Place, she works together with families in enabling children towards realising their potential, with the recommended support and strategies required. She strives to apply multidisciplinary approaches in her practice. She also believes that family supported intervention enhances children’s success despite possible learning difficulties or neurodevelopmental disorders. Outside of work, Donna enjoys catching up on Korean dramas and variety shows, bonding with family and friends over food and hopes to explore more of this great big world.
