Trish Hull completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the University of Queensland, Australia in 1999. She was fortunate to work in a wonderful early intervention team for 8 years specialising her skills working with families who have children with developmental delays or disability. Trish trained as a Makaton Sign language presenter and became certified to present 3 Hanen programs, “It Takes 2 to talk”, “More than Words” and “Learning Language and Loving it.”   Hanen programs inspired Trish to understand that therapy is not about treating the child during the session- it is about working closely with families and schools to have the skills to encourage communication in the child’s natural everyday settings.

Since an early age Trish has had a passion for travelling and she has worked as a Speech Therapist in Canada, England, and Beijing before moving to Malaysia.  This has given a wonderful understanding of different therapy approaches used in each country.  She has a passion for working with children with Autism and has trained in RDI floortime as well as spending time with instructors of both Sonrise and RDI.  Trish has trained to an advanced level in PROMPT and finds this approach invaluable to help with speech sound difficulties.

When she’s not working Trish can be found spending time with her 3 young children, doing yoga, and enjoying all the wonderful food and experiences that living overseas allows!
