Mei Qi obtained her Bachelor’s’ Degree in Occupational Therapy from National University of Malaysia (UKM) where she had opportunity to work in a variety of fields including pediatric, orthopedic, geriatric, neuro-rehab and mental health. Upon graduating, she decided to explore more on pediatric area and she has attended various workshops focusing on special needs children. And, she is obtaining her certification course in Program of Essential Competencies in Sensory Integration (PECSI) in 2019.

She finds her interest to work with children with special needs. She has had the great opportunity to work with the children with different age and challenges upon working in this field. She believes that every children are special in their own way and different approaches or strategies are needed to support them in their daily functions. In the future, she is looking forward to support special needs child to reach their fullest abilities to perform in their daily activities. During leisure time, she enjoys reading and doing art and craft. She also volunteered at some events and preschool for special needs child during holiday.
