Petrina graduated with a BSc (Hons) Speech Pathology and Therapy degree from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. While studying for her degree, Petrina has had opportunity to work in community health centres, specialist residential centres, primary and secondary schools and speech and language therapy clinics.

During her time in the UK, she has worked with clients of varying ages presenting with different speech and language needs such as autism, learning disabilities, aphasia, developmental language delay, stammering and articulation difficulties.

She is passionate about the role of communication in improving an individual’s quality of life, and for her therapy to benefit not only the client but those around them as well. With an eagerness to learn and reflecting on experiences, she is keen to continue her professional development and deliver best practice.
