
How J-Yi
Speech Language Pathologist
J-Yi graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Flinders University in South Australia where she underwent clinical placements in private clinics, hospitals, primary schools and aged care centres. Post graduation, J-Yi worked as a speech pathologist in a large private practice for over 2 years where she served the paediatric population. Whilst working in Australia, J-Yi provided services in a range of disciplines including early childhood intervention, speech, language, fluency, literacy skills, social skills and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She also serviced a caseload with varied presentations including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Global Developmental Delay (GDD).
J-Yi is a current Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and a registered member of the Malaysian Association of Speech-Language & Hearing (MASH). J-Yi is a Hanen-Certified Speech Language Pathologist in the It Takes Two to Talk Program and is also trained in using the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Sounds~Write First Rate Phonics Literacy Program.
